Paddle Ball Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 16, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Paddle Ball (the "Game"), developed by clbwhazzup ("I", "me", or "my"), handles information when you play it on Android or iOS. By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to the practices described here.
The short version
- I do not ask for your name, email, or any account, and I do not collect personal information myself.
- Your game progress and settings are saved only on your device.
- The Game shows banner ads and optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect device information, such as your advertising ID, to deliver and measure those ads.
- You can limit ad tracking in your device settings at any time.
1. Information stored on your device
The Game saves your progress, scores, unlocked items, and settings (such as sound and volume) locally on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This data is not sent to me or to any server I operate. It is removed when you clear the Game's data or uninstall the Game.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game is free to play and supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. The Game uses two kinds of ads:
- Banner ads that appear on screen while you use the Game.
- Rewarded ads that you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. Watching them is always optional.
To show, measure, and improve these ads and to prevent fraud, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect information from your device, including:
- Device identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA, only if you allow tracking on iOS)
- IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location
- Device and app details, such as device model, operating system version, language, and app version
- Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown, tapped, or watched to completion
- Diagnostic and performance data related to ad delivery
Depending on your location and settings, this information may be used to show you personalized ads based on your interests, or non-personalized ads based on general context. I do not receive this information in a form that identifies you personally; I only see aggregated reports, such as how many ads were shown.
Google's handling of this information is governed by its own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- How Google uses advertising
3. Your choices about ads
Android
Open Settings > Google > All services > Ads (the exact path varies by device) to reset or delete your advertising ID. Deleting it stops apps from using it for personalized ads.
iOS
The Game will only access your IDFA if you allow it when asked. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. If tracking is not allowed, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized using your IDFA.
Google ad settings
You can manage ad personalization across Google services at My Ad Center.
Consent in certain regions
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region where consent is required, you may be asked for your choices about data use for advertising before ads are personalized. You can change these choices later where the Game provides that option.
4. In-app purchases
The Game may offer optional in-app purchases in the future. If it does, all payments will be processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms and privacy policies. I will never receive or store your payment card details. I may receive limited information needed to deliver your purchase, such as a purchase confirmation or transaction ID.
5. Children's privacy
The Game is not directed at children under the age of 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Game, please contact me using the email below and I will take steps to address it.
6. Data retention and security
Because I do not collect personal information myself, I do not store it on any server. Data saved on your device stays there until you delete it. Information collected by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's policies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I choose established services to reduce risk.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe and the UK, or state privacy laws in the United States such as the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to opt out of personalized advertising. Since I do not hold personal information about you, the most effective ways to exercise these rights over advertising data are the device and Google settings described in Section 3. You are also welcome to contact me with any request and I will help however I can.
8. Changes to this policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if new features are added. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continuing to use the Game after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
9. Contact
If you have questions or requests about this privacy policy, please email clbwhazzup@gmail.com.
